Oct 31, 2026For most of my life, I’ve been drawn to music that makes people slightly uncomfortable. Not chaotic noise for its own sake—but music with tension. Songs that feel unresolved. Tracks that wander into strange places, hold you there, then finally let go. The kind of music where the release only works because the pressure beforehand was real. For a long time, I thought this was just a personal taste quirk. Eventually, I realized it shaped how I think about suffering—and even how I think about God.
